Testimonials
Below are some of the many successful horses that have been sold from Turlood Stables. We very much enjoy hearing how our horses are doing and what they have been up to, be it competing or simply hacking.
If you have bought a horse from us and would like to keep in touch and let us know how you have been getting on please email us a picture and text.
Kilbraghs King - 'Dream Horse'
Kilbraghs King and I competing at 'Dounby Show' up here in Orkney last Thursday. We came third out of eight! So proud of my boy! Three years next month (the 26th) that we got him and I love him to bits! Couldn't be happier with daddy's purchase! (Hehe) I would suggest Turlood to anyone looking for a horse!
You guys got me my dream horse!! Thanks again!

'Such A Gentleman'
Bought this chap from you in 2007 as a 4 year old, was looking for a quiet sort as my confidence had taken a battering trying out horses from private sellers that where badly behaved. I remember kept telling you, please dont put me on anything that will be naughty, and you said sit on that 4 year old it's quiet.!!
He has been a star and i adore him, he has had very few 4 year old moments and even when he did they where nothing bad at all. He moves amazingly and jumps huge and has a real presence about him, yet he is the biggest softy around, he has grown to 17hh but is the easiest horse to handle, such a gentleman. He has had a slow start to his career but what he has done has been successful. Next year i hope to get him out and about more, Dressage, Jumping, Showing and Hunting next winter.
